This is an excellent copy of The Best of Hardy Tackle Guides, compiled and published by Jamie Maxtone Graham. One of the pioneers of the Collectability of Antique Fishing Tackle.
The Catalogue is comprised of compilation of the most important progressions in the introduction and development of Fishing Tackle by The Worlds most famous Manufacturer - Hardy Brothers of Alnwick.
Maxtone Graham referred to his collection of Hardy Tackle Guides to select the most important and interesting items which may be of interest to the collector, new and old.
Those catalogues were beyond the reach of the masses in those days.
As such, they contain a wealth of information, drilling down to minutia of certain aspects, such as changes to the Hardy Perfect and indeed the people who made them.
